I told myself that the first show after our "return" show was bound to be a letdown.. the November show was so unbelievably kickass, almost anything was bound to be lame in comparison. That was sort of the case. Our show March 11 at Common Grounds on March 11 was good, we played another new song, Difference Engine, and we were pleased as hell at how that turned out. We had been agonizing over the vocals for a long time (more than we've ever agonized over vocals), and I think it turned out better than we thought it would. That's on the plus side. On the minus side, I managed to break a string on the first song, couldn't hear for shit for quite a while, and the easy songs were not so easy. But we did rock, noise was made, sweat was poured, songs were sung.
Two new songs are on the way, tentatively titled "Transplant" and "Rocky Records". They weren't quite ready for the show, but they will be in the next set.
So, thanks to everyone who came to the show. We really appreciate it.
Thanks for Rocking,
H/Squeaky
