Family Friendly

Squeaky is not a band that does well outside. There's something about trapping all those vibrating air molecules trapped inside a building that really works for our brand of music. Put a band outside, it's an instant frisbee festival - nobody paying attention to the music, just "hanging out". So we've hardly ever done it. A couple of Alachua Music Harvests, that's it. But I'll tell you, we had a blast playing at a pool party this past weekend.
Chicken Luv threw a huge pool/barbq party to celebrate Chicken's retirement from Midas, and they invited Squeaky to play. The Ones to Blame played too, and it was just a perfect mix. The best was seeing kids running around and playing air guitar to the bands.
So there was the unlikely scene of Squeaky playing in swimsuits and flipflops. Pictures must exist. I'll post them later.
Rob McGregor commented that it was cool to see Squeaky play quietly, without curse words, but still sound like Squeaky. It was certainly fun.
