ABBA?

According to this article by Brian Krashpad, Squeaky played "S.O.S" by Abba at PopCanon's final show. Is this even possible?
How could I not remember this?

Jesus, just stare at this picture for a while.

Oh Man.

Hairo,
Your mind & memory -- though colonized and sleep-deprived by your little girl -- is not failing you (sort of). It *is* true that the Abba anthem was played during the Squeaky set at PopCanon's Last Show Ever -- however, it was *not* played by Squeaky but by Project Dingo, after Dave & I bumrushed Squeaky in the middle of your set and took over for that one song. It was a bizarre tribute to the Project Dingo Valentine's Day show two months earlier, where we first busted a chunk off that song (and many other love songs).

But tell me now: how did learning side three of London Calling almost break up the band? That show rocked balls, and you guys were great. I have videotape to prove it. Ask Steve Ware!

I have to trust your memory more than my own, Ned. I sort of remember doing that. I certainly remember that I played bass and that the song was really good.
Squeaky learned that we didn't like the Clash as much as we thought we did, and i think playing other people's music a lot (we had to really practice hard for that shit) was really irritating to us. We were pretty surly about it all, I think.

It's OK Harry I don't remember playing SOS that night either, However Brian also said in that article that Squeaky originated from the Crustaceans, so without ned's comment I woudn't beleive it, but it must be true if Ned says so.

Don't believe anything in that article. I was drunk as fuck and taking notes with an eyeliner pencil.
