Pony Show

What is this song about anyway?
That's right, we have a song called Pony Show. We had the instrumental version all finished, and we were at that stage where we were referring to the song with annoyingly vague titles like "new song" or "Yeah!", and somehow the idea got floated to call it "Pony Show". I can't remember if Karl drew the cartoon before or after that fateful decision, but it's hilarious.
Anyway, since the song was called pony show, I decided the lyrics should be about a pony show. Easier said than done - I wrote them, only to realize that I hate them. And the rest of the band didn't really like certain parts, either. This is especially a problem - usually, we don't comment too much on other people's lyrics in the band, so if Karl and Steve are wrinkling their noses and saying, "I don't know about that one line...", you know you've got problems.
Anyway, I've rewritten the lyrics, their not about horses anymore, we'll see if they work.
